Engage the student
It is a common belief that the students merely read or watch videos for online courses and then re-examine details in an essay or basic article. This is incorrect, though, since many activities and tasks that can fully engage online students. Students should show their interpretation of the content and improve their interaction with the content during the course. Instructors should combine real-world related practices and material awareness. Authentic exercises can vary from case studies to problem-based scenarios in which students discuss the problem and develop solutions or deal with weaknesses in the problem. Teachers should also use inquiry-based learning (IBL) to explore their content-related questions. The application of knowledge, ability to know, and learning (KWL) charts is one of the techniques that online teachers should apply to improve IBL. Using the KWL maps, students may initiate content discovery by describing what they know and want to know about the subject.
Build a simple, consistent structure
The look of the computer science curriculum may be purposely welcoming or deliberately discouraging. Many teachers have a great deal of knowledge to collect in the online learning world, which can create a disinviting learning environment. Courses need a simple and coherent framework that provides intuitive navigation to create an actively welcoming online environment. The structure of any module should be the same. The placement and format of the reading materials, work, assignments, opportunities for communication, etc., should still be the same as the traditional classroom environment. Each module can also look like the previous modules, with revised contents and learning performance. When evaluating the nature and accessibility of the curriculum for learners, an important solution is to ensure that all materials used in the entire course are part of tehnoknowledge LMS.
